110 MPH Chase Lands New Iberia Man In Jail

A man is learning the hard way that he can run, but he can't hide for very long.

Deputies in Iberia Parish say they tried to pull over Justin Shaw as he was driving his motorcycle on Admiral Doyle Drive in New Iberia. Instead, he took off at a high rate of speed, at one pont hitting 110 miles per hour.

He tried to hide his bike at a Marie Street home but was arrested a short time later.

Shaw has since been booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges of fleeing from police. Bond has been set at $5,000.
