Well Head Explosion In Maurice Kills One

A well head explosion near Maurice left one man dead and another worker hospitalized.   A gas wellhead pipe ruptured on east Leblanc road around twelve thirty yesterday at the Hilcorp Energy Company's production facility.  There were no environmental threats yesterday and no one had to be evacuated.
