12-Year-Old Girl Dies In Accidental Shooting

A 12-year-old girl who was accidentally shot when an 11-year-old girl fired a gun inside a home in River Ridge, has died. Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman John Fortunato says that Karin Brown had been in critical condition at
Ochsner Hospital since the shooting on November 24th. The 11-year-old will now be booked with negligent homicide. A 15-year-old who was also at home at the time will be booked with principal to negligent homicide.
