Baton Rouge police have ended a manhunt involving a 12-year-old boy who shot at a school bus today.

The boy, whose name is not being released because he's a minor, allegedly had a fight on the bus before he got off, went inside his house and got a handgun. He shot at the bus and fled.

Police located him nearly an hour later.

None of the 39 student passengers was injured, nor was the bus driver and the bus monitor. The students were from Kennilworth Middle School in East Baton Rouge Parish, according to NBC 33.

The shooting happened about 3:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of 44th Street.
