Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein made a surprising public announcement as the special counsel Robert Mueller moved to indict 13 Russian nationals. These individuals are accused of running an operation to help the Trump campaign and hurt Hillary Clinton's efforts with social media ads. Rosenstein was clear, the Department of Justice does not think any American knew they were being defrauded by this group who hid their true identity. Rosenstein also said he does not believe the Russian efforts changed the outcome of the investigation. The special counsel's investigation into Russian meddling and possible collusion will continue.
