The school resource officer at B.E. Boudreaux Middle School was called to a classroom about an ungovernable student.

The resource officer arrested a 13-year-old juvenile from Charenton for allegedly hitting one teacher and pushing another.

Both teachers went to Franklin Foundation Hospital for treatment, and they were released later.

The 13-year-old was arrested for two counts of simple battery and criminal damage to property.

The student was turned over to a guardian pending court proceedings in juvenile court.
