13th Annual Lydia Cajun Food Fest is Sept 11 & 12

The Lydia Cancer Association will hold their 13th annual Lydia Cajun Food Fest and Fais Do Do on Friday, Sept 11, and Saturday, Sept 12 at Weeks Park. In addition to carnival rides, hot air balloon rides, arts and crafts, and GREAT food and beverages, there is also an awesome lineup of entertainment, with local talent. Since the proceeds benefit the Lydia Cancer Associations, the Survivors Walk is always an important part of the festivities, and will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30 am, after the opening ceremonies, and kick off of the Poker Run and Jeep jaunt. Of course, the star of the show is always the fantastic local cuisine, which people look forward to all year! Check out some of the food vendors, and get ready for some good eating for a great cause in Lydia!
