NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The U.S. Attorney's Office in New Orleans says a 41-year-old man from Georgia has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiracy to produce child pornography.

In a news release, U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite said Daniel Nolan Devor of Brunswick was sentenced Thursday.

Prosecutors said federal officials arrested him in November 2013 after an investigation determined he conspired with others, including an Abita Springs man, to create and post internet videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children.

Devor was sentenced after entering a plea deal in 2014 during which he agreed to cooperate with authorities.
