OPELOUSAS, La. (KPEL) -- Three teenagers have been arrested following a string of six car burglaries and a theft at a Walgreens early Saturday morning.

Opelousas Police say the started receiving complaints from neighbors at about 5:27 a.m. Saturday.

After investigating surveillance footage, as well as an anonymous tip, police found the three teens at a home on George Drive. Adults gave police permission to search the home.

Police say all the stolen items were found. They include bank cards, radios, speakers, a cobra radar detector, a wallet, a ring, a cell phone, a phone charger, and condoms.

18-year-old Alec Joubert, 17-year-old Tristan Higginbotham, and a 16-year-old old juvenile were arrested and charged with six counts each of vehicle burglary and theft.

Joubert and Higginbotham were booked into the Opelousas City Jail. The juvenile was taken to the St. James Detenction Center in Donaldsonville.
