The Acadia Sheriff's Office deputy who fired shots at a stolen tractor Saturday night was also the suspect's father.Maxine Trahan, public information officer for the sheriff's office, says 25-year-old Lukie Dominic Ledet Jr.'s father was the law-enforcement officer who discharged his weapon in an attempt to stop the tractor on its path of destruction that included totaling a state police cruiser.  Ledet eventually stopped the tractor on his own and was taken into custody.  Trahan tells The Advertiser the suspect's father was called to the scene, but she could not say if he was brought to the scene because authorities knew it was his son who they believed stole the tractor.  She says the deputy has been placed on paid administrative leave.
