6th grader Taylun Druilhet and 7th grader RayTriona Robertson, both students at B. Edward Boudreaux Middle School in Baldwin, are two of 17 students from across Louisiana who will have their artwork on display this month in the La. Governor’s Mansion.

“Each and every piece of art for the month of September will captivate all who visit the Governor’s Mansion,” says First Lady Supriya Jindal. “Our State’s young and very gifted artists used many methods to express the culture, traditions, and cuisine of Louisiana. Bobby and I are proud to showcase such wonderful depictions of Louisiana at the Governor’s Mansion."

Since 2008, a new group of art is displayed every month on a wall dedicated by the Jindal family to children’s artwork. These 13 students were chosen from over 750 entries in four different age groups.
