2 Bodies Found In Vehicle In Iberville Parish

PLAQUEMINE, La. (AP) — Iberville Parish sheriff's deputies say two bodies have been found inside a vehicle in a field off La. Highway 1.

Maj. Johnny Blanchard says it looks as if the vehicle ran off the road into a field in Plaquemine.

A motorcycle patrolman spotted a car early Monday morning.

Blanchard said the incident does not appear to be a vehicle accident.

He says deputies are investigating the deaths as a homicide.
