2 Dead In Friday Shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Authorities are looking for a suspect in the fatal shootings of a man and woman in the Baker area.

Casey Rayborn Hicks, a spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, identifies the suspect as 48-year-old Alfred Scales.

Hicks says in a statement that 33-year-old Jamie Davenport and 44-year-old James Ledell Brown were shot to death in the front yard of Brown's home.

Hicks says the shooting was the result of an argument.

Hicks says detectives are trying to determine the relationship between Scales and the others.
