2 Killed After Richland Parish Head-On Collision

MANGHAM, La. (AP) — Two drivers are dead after a head-on collision in Richland Parish Friday evening.

Herman Brown, 69, of Winnsboro and Brandy Harris, 34, of Wisner suffered fatal injuries from the crash on U.S. 425. KNOE-TV reports both were pronounced dead at the scene.

State Troopers say Brown appears to have been driving southbound in the wrong lane when his 2001 Dodge Ram hit a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Harris.

Troopers suspect Brown may have been drinking and are sending samples for lab analysis.
