2 Men Arrested In Holden Aluminum Theft
LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) — Livingston Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested two men in the theft of aluminum from Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. in Holden.
The Advocate reports 32-year-old Mark Dwayne Hoyt Sr. and 30-year-old Richard Sterling Young Jr. were each booked on one count of felony theft.
Monday's arrests resulted from a theft Thursday of about $3,000 worth of aluminum.
Hoyt is being held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center on a $10,000 bail and a probation hold.
Young, who also had three outstanding traffic warrants, is being held in lieu of $10,553 bail.
It's not clear whether the suspects have attorneys.
