28-year-old Darion Thodile and 31-year-old Donald Jones, both of Lafayette, have been arrested for allegedly robbing six people Tuesday night.

Lafayette Police Department spokesman Corporal Paul Mouton says Thodile allegedly approached the victims in the 200 block of Claymore Drive around 1 AM and offered to sell them illegal drugs. Mouton says when the victims told him no, Thodile allegedly took out a handgun and demanded their valuables. After allegedly hitting one of them with his gun and stealing their wallets and a cell phone, Thodile got into a truck and Donald Jones allegedly drove him away.

Officers later found the two suspects, and the stolen property, near an apartment complex in the 400 block of Woodvale.

Thodile has been charged with Armed Robbery while Jones has been charged with Principal to Armed Robbery as officers continue to investigate.
