Congressman Charles Boustany Wins ‘Spirit Of Enterprise’ Award

Congressman Charles Boustany of Louisiana's 3rd congressional district was recently recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with the "Spirit of Enterprise" award. The Spirit of Enterprise award is given out every year to members of Congress based on rankings given for key business votes outlined in the Chamber of Commerce's yearly publication, How They Voted.

Congressman Boustany was excited to accept the award as he says the honor reflects his commitment to business growth.

I am honored and proud to receive the U.S. Chamber’s Spirit of Enterprise Award. Before serving in Washington, I was a small business owner and am fully aware of the tough economic climate small businesses face today. That’s why I have consistently voiced my support for these vital job creators by voting in favor of pro-growth economic policies.
