20th Annual Erath 4th of July BBQ Cook Off is June 13

One of my favorite events every year to celebrate our Nation's Independence is the Erath 4th of July Celebration.There are a lot of very cool events leading up to the actual July 4th party, and one of the best is the annual BBQ Cook Off, which will be held on Saturday, June 13th this year. This is the 20th annual Cook Off, which will be at Quality Sports Authority RV Park, 12725 North Road in Erath. Registration for the cook off begins at 8:00 am, and. music by Charley Rivers and local dj's will start at noon, and the BBQ judging is at 5:00pm. There will also be a homemade pie baking and dessert contest, and a Kid's Cookie Baking Contest, which sounds yummy! There are also other fun family activities, which include a watermelon eating contest, golf cart parade, potato sack races, and of course, lots of great food and drinks, so come on out for the fun at the 20th annual Erath 4th of July BBQ Cook Off!
