25th Annual Gumbo Cook Off in New Iberia! [VIDEO]

Each year, on the second weekend of October, the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce hosts the World Championship Gumbo Cook-Off,one of the tastiest events in Acadiana! This year promises more than 90 teams competing, great music, and of course the chance for the public to get their fill of one of Acadiana's premiere dishes! Festivities begin on Friday night in downtown New Iberia with  great music and food.On Saturday, there is entertainment all day,,down town shopping deals, museum tours and lots of  food booths, but no gumbo until Sunday, when the official cook off begins in Bouligny Plaza.
