Louisiana Tech researchers will be flying high  above  the  Gulf  of Mexico  later  this  month  to  conduct zero gravity experiments for NASA.  

Dr.  Neil  Crews  is an assistant  professor  of  mechanical engineering at Tech, and he  says the program tests equipment to see if it can operate when there's  no  gravity.   He  says  they'll  be taking  a DNA analysis instrument on these experimental flights that could benefit future NASA astronauts.
