SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A second 16-year-old arrested in connection with the beating death of an 88-year-old World War II veteran is scheduled to make a court appearance today as another teenager is being held on $2 million bail.

Demetrius Glenn made an initial appearance in Spokane County District Court Monday afternoon.

Glenn turned himself in Thursday night, the same day veteran Delbert Belton died of his injuries.

Belton, who was wounded in the Battle of Okinawa, was beaten in his vehicle as he waited for a friend in a parking lot. His wallet was taken.

Kenan Adams-Kinard was arrested early Monday and has a court appearance today. Both teens will be tried as adults.
