2 Big Games On Town Square Media In Final Week Of High School Football Play
The big district game, which will pit the Ascension Episcopal Blue and the Central Catholic (Morgan City) Eagles, highlights three week 10 games that can be heard on Town Square Media tonight.
The District 7-1A match-up between Ascension Episcopal and Central Catholic can be heard on Talk Radio 960 AM and talkradio960.com.
A win by Ascension Episcopal would give them the outright district championship. The Blue Gators are ranked second in the latest LSWA Class A poll, and are currently unbeaten, at 9-0, and 6-0, respectively.
A win by Central Catholic would give them at least a share of the district title. The Eagles, currently 8-1, and 5-1, respectively, are currently tied with Vermilion Catholic for second place in the district, behind Ascension Episcopal.
Our other game this evening will be a District 7-1A battle between the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights and the Vermilion Catholic Screaming Eagles, which can be heard on News Talk 96.5 FM KPEL-FM and kpel965.com.
LCA is currently 4-5, overall, and 3-3 in district play, and a win tonight would virtually assure the Knights of a playoff berth, while VC, who will enter tonight at 7-2, overall, and 5-1 in district play, needs a win to maybe get a piece of the district crown.
