3 People Taken To A Lafayette Hospital After A High-Speed Chase

Sheriff's deputies trying to stop a white Jaguar being sought for allegedly being involved in a hit and run were led on a chase down Cameron Street, Delord Street and eventually Simcoe Street.

Deputies say Melvin Colomb the driver of the Jaguar hit two cars that ended the chase.  Three people were taken to the hospital after being injured in the crash, and deputies have charged Colomb with aggravated flight from an officer and resisting arrest.
