3 Scott Car Burglaries Solved With One Arrest

Jeffery Furr is jailed in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center charged with three counts of simple burglary. Furr was apprehended early Monday morning by Scott Police as he was seen leaving a driveway in the 200 block of Harvest Pointe Circle in Scott. Furr was on a bicycle at the time of his apprehension. When made to stand, a purse and other items fell from Furr's jacket. Furr admitted to taking two purses, checkbooks, bank cards, $36 in cash and a set of car keys. These items were all taken from unlocked cars at two homes in Harvest Pointe Circle.
