3 Winnsboro Women Accused Of Medicaid Fraud

Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says three former employees of a Rayville personal care services agency have been booked with Medicaid fraud.
50-year-old Georgia Lee Coleman was booked on 35 counts, 45-year-old Lisa Thomas on 10 counts, and 37-year-old Yaschica Pleasant Johnson with four counts.

The Winnsboro residents all had worked for Cookies Helping Hand Inc. They allegedly were working at other jobs during hours they billed to the Medicaid program.

The company's owner, 51-year-old Patricia A. Bell of Rayville, was booked July 22 on 60 counts of filing or maintaining false public records and seven counts of Medicaid fraud.

The three former employees were booked July 28 in Franklin Parish by sheriff's deputies and investigators from the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
