A Franklin man decided he would avoid having to talk to police during a traffic stop by parking his car in the middle of the road, and running away. It didn't work out for him though, as he later decided to return to where he had parked his car. He was arrested.

Speeding and resisting an officer are just two of the charges levelled against Jacob Picard of Franklin after a deputy tried to stop the man. Picard decided to run after stopping his car in the middle of Saint Joseph Lane and running off. He later returened to his car where police also charged him with driving under suspension, not having the proper child restraints and simple obstruction of a highway.
