33rd Cajun Cup 10K Runs This Saturday

Todd Delahoussaye visited 'Morning With Ken and Bernie' today and invited KPEL NewsJunkies to the 33rd annual Cajun Cup 10K and one mile fun run to benefit UL's track and field program presented by Cajun Road Runners.

Registration for the event is still open according to Delahoussaye,

You can register at www.cajuncup.net.  Both the 10k and the one mile.  From elite runners to beginners we've got something for everyone.

In addition to the races starting at Parc Sans Souci in downtown Lafayette Delahoussaye said,

We'll have music, jambalaya, soft drinks and T-shirts for runners.

Some Lafayette streets will closed to accommodate the races on Saturday until approximately 10:00am. The race has statewide significance as it also is the 10K state championship.
