LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) — Four arrests have been made in connection with the death of an 83-year-old Lake Charles man.

The victim was John LeBleu, who police said was killed during a robbery at his apartment on Thursday.

Police said 38-year-old John J. Landry III, a resident of the same apartment complex, was booked with first-degree murder and simple robbery.

Three women, including Landry's mother and sister were booked with being accessories after the fact.

A neighbor said LeBleu was a World War II veteran who was well liked by his neighbors. An apartment complex employee found the body after being asked to check on the man.
