6-Year-Old Dies In School Bus Accident

Six-year-old Lederion Miller was pronounced dead at Women’s and Children’s Hospital this morning due to injuries sustained in a school bus accident.  According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office apparently the child or his clothing got caught in the school bus door and he was dragged approximately 20 feet before being released.  The driver did not realize what happened until he turned the bus around.  The bus was enroute to Milton Elementary at the time of the incident.
