$6M Recreation Complex To Open Dec. 4 In Concordia

VIDALIA, La. (AP) — An opening date has been set for a new $6.5 million Concordia Parish recreation complex in Vidalia

The recreation complex, which is adjacent to the new Vidalia Municipal Complex, will open Dec. 4, the same day as a nearby city park opens.

The Natchez Democrat reports that the recreation complex was a joint project of the Concordia Recreation District Number 3 and the City of Vidalia. The recreation district purchased 20 acres of the land on which the complex sits, while the city purchased an additional 30 acres, which it leased to the district.
