7 Mile Long Oil Slick Found In Gulf

The Coast Guard has found a seven mile long oil slick in the gulf near Venice. The Coast Guard has said that it has not had any coastal impact. Tests of that oil slick show the oil is NOT from last year's BP oil spill. Experts says the oil in waters near Venice is fresh south Louisiana crude. The source of the slick is now being sought.
