Lafayette Parish School Superintendent Presents TURN AROUND Plan

Last night Lafayette Parish School Superintendent Pat Cooper presented his Turn Around plan for parish schools.  Today on "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" Margaret Trahan representing "LAPESC" ( Lafayette Education Stakeholders Council ) discussed Cooper's plan.

Trahan said the Turn Around plan is exciting because "there are specific and measurable goals with action steps to support those goals".   According to Trahan the plan is posted online.  In addition Trahan said LAPESC will hold a public forum Tuesday April 10,2012 at the David Thibodeaux Tech Campus at 6:00PM.   Dr. Pat Cooper will on hand to present the plan and answer questions from the audience.
