The Lafayette City-Parish Council and the Lafayette Public Utility Authority have set their agendas for three different meetings this week including a special meeting for tomorrow.

One of tomorrow's agenda items was authored by Councilman Brandon Shelvin.  He is seeking to pass a resolution to separate the LPUA and the LPCC from having joint meetings according to the agenda.

The other two meetings on Thursday are primarily dealing with budgeting for the LPUA and LPAA.

The first meeting set for 5:30 will consist of the LPUA developing an operating budget, a five-year capital improvement budget and another ordinance that will push a new budget for the Communications systems.

Immediately after this meeting will be another special meeting in which the Lafayette Public Power Authority is adopting a budget of revenues and expenditures for the organization.
