A Church Arson In Abita Springs

The New Hope Baptist church on 9th street is thought to have been set on fire purposefully according to the State Fire Marshall's office.

Luckily the fire was out out quickly by responding fire departments, so not much damage was recieved. It is also believed that the fire was dealing with a burglary. The Fire Marshall's office and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's office are currently investigating the matter, but haven't found many leads.
