The Governor is still getting trouble for his recent passing of the school voucher program which allows for public school children to attend a private school/high performance school.

Along with the Louisiana Federation of Teachers, who has had a lawsuit against the new act for a few weeks, the Louisiana Association of Educators will being joining the ranks of those attempting to render this statute in violation of the Louisiana Constitution. The lawsuit they are claiming starts today in the Baton Rouge district court.

The belief held by the LAE that they object to the use of the state's public school financing to pay for tuition for private and parochial schools.

Governor Jindal characterizing the lawsuits as attempts to stop changes in the Louisiana education system that will give student the opportunity to have more educational opportunities.
