A Portion Of Verot Will Close This Weekend

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will be closing a section of Verot School Road this weekend for drainage work.

The closure will start Friday, February 10 at 8 p.m., and the road will remain closed until 6 o'clock Monday morning.

Verot School Road (Highway 339) will be closed between Harbor Light Drive and South Beadle Road.

DOTD says you will have to go around by using either Ambassador Caffery, Highway 89 (the Youngsville Highway) or Pinhook Road.

This is part of the ongoing widening project for Verot School Road.

As always, DOTD hopes that drivers will proceed with caution around work zones.
