GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — Gulfport police have arrested two Louisiana  teens in connection to an armed robbery at a Sonic Drive-In.

Police Sgt. Damon McDaniel tells The Sun Herald 18-year-old Mattie Sue Marie Cole and 18-year-old Dylan Lapeyrouse, both of Abbeville, Louisiana, were arrested last week on a charge of armed robbery.

McDaniel said officers responded to an incident involving a male and female at the Sonic on Sept. 20.

After the waitress delivered their food, McDaniel said, Lapeyrouse brandished handgun and demanded money. McDaniel said the couple obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

McDaniel said Lapeyrouse and Cole are being held at the Harrison County jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond and a $50,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.

It was unclear whether they have attorneys.
