Acadia Parish Under Curfew Thursday Night

With the area receiving even more rain in this meteorological event, Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson has instituted a curfew for certain parts of Acadia Parish for Thursday night.

A sheriff's spokesperson reported the curfew is to take effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the unincorporated areas south of La. 98 and west of La. 1111 and La. 13.

The release also mentions any areas that are experiencing high water on roads should adhere to the curfew, as well.
