Acadiana Coastal Conservation Group To Hold Fundraiser

The Acadiana Coastal Conservation Association is gearing up for their annual chapter banquet. The annual event will be held Wednesday April 11 at the Heymann Center. Mark Mouton and John Chapuis of the Acadiana Chapter appeared on “Mornings With Ken & Bernie” today to discuss the event and some of their successes.
Mouton said the chapter has used recycled concrete to build artificial reefs for fish in Lake Ponchatrain. In addition to those efforts Chapuis says the chapter has used funds to round up abandoned crab traps that litter state waterways.
