Parents of students at Acadiana High School were sent a letter this week about the early dismissal on Friday.  The principal says they are having early dismissal so that those who want to attend the championship game this weekend will have time to do so.

Superintendent Dr. Pat Cooper says,

“We wish our Acadiana Wrecking Rams the best and support them as they represent our entire district in New Orleans during the championship tournament."

Tickets for the game can be purchased at the school until Friday morning, they are $13 for general admission and $16 for reserved seats. The Rams play at 8 pm on Saturday.

Here is a copy of the letter sent to parents this week:

Parents,

We wish to inform you that on Friday, December 13th, 2013 we will be dismissing students at 12:30 due to the need of many of our faculty, staff, student organizations, and school administration to travel to New Orleans for the state championship football game. Lunch will be served to all students prior to dismissal. All busses will run, however at an earlier time than normally scheduled.  All car riders should be picked up in the front circle of school immediately following bus departure.

We thank you for your continued support of Acadiana High School, it's programs, and initiatives.

Sincerely,

David LeJeune
Principal
