Acadiana Live With State Senator Mike Michot

State Senator Mike Michot of Lafayette joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" to be the segment guest for this week's "Acadiana Live". 

Michot talked about a variety of issues.  He gave his opinion on State Representative John Labruzzo's legislation that would attempt to make it a crime for someone to perform an abortion.  Michot says he doesn't know if Labruzzo has the votes, but he knows many people are in favor of the legislation.

Michot also spoke about the bill that would require companies doing business with Louisiana customers to charge sales tax on purchases.  While many major companies do, there are many across the country and globe who do not.  By law, citizens are required to file that as part of their yearly state tax returns.
