Acadiana Part Of Gourmet Magazine’s Next Big Scene

Today on ‘Mornings With Ken and Bernie‘ Chef Pat Mould discussed the latest issue of Gourmet.com featuring Louisiana food in general and the food and entertainment of Lafayette in particular.
Gourmet.com has just published an article titled “The Next Big Scene” listing the top 10 destinations in America for food and music with Lafayette, LA being one of the top 10. The magazine said,
“New Orleans always gets top billing in the Pelican State, but Lafayette is Louisiana’s true food and music lovers’ secret.”
Chef Mould contends,
“We made it into this Top 10 list (and others) because we have so many people outside the city and the state that have become such fans of Lafayette, Louisiana that I think that aids us in finding our place on these lists.”
Also discussed by Chef Mould is Delambre Seafood Direct an initiative to grow the shrimp and fish industry in Delcambre, LA. You can get more information by listening to the interview.
