Acadiana Pilot Dies In Plane Crash In Destin

Al Habetz is dead after the twin engine Cessna he was flying crashed in Destin on Tuesday night, according to our news partners at KATC.

Habetz's body has been recovered by the Coast Guard. It's believed no other people were with Habetz during his flight. Earlier in the day, Habetz reportedly dropped off passengers at the Destin Airport. He was apparently heading back to Louisiana.
