Acadiana Road/Lane Closures Happening This Week

Update: In St. Mary Parish, the right lane of US 90 will be closed in the east and west bound directions from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday for routine bridge inspections. The road work will be on US 90 from just east of its intersection with LA 70 to just past the Martin Luther King Exit near Roderick St.

Below is the list of road/lane closures scheduled for this week:

In Krotz Springs, St. Landry Parish, U.S. 190 eastbound and westbound lanes will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspections. This will happen on Monday, March 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In Iberia Parish, La. 318 located south of U.S. 90 is reduced to one lane immediately as crews are performing emergency drainage work. Traffic traveling northbound on La. 318 will be detoured to the U.S. 90 frontage road towards Landry's Truck Stop. This is expected to last until tomorrow (Tuesday).

In Iberville Parish, there will be nightly single lane closures happening between the Iberville Parish Line and the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge this week. The closures will happen Monday through Thursday nights from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. each day. Crews will be performing paving operations and other associated work.

In Calcasieu Parish, the I-10 South Service Road (Isle of Capri Boulevard) between LA 378 (Sampson Street) and Mike Hooks Road in Westlake will be intermittently closed in the eastbound direction over two of the next three weeks. These closures will happen from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. on Mondays through Fridays during this week and the week of April 1. Eastbound drivers will be detoured around the closed portion of eastbound I-10 South Service Road using LA 378 (Sampson Street), LA 379 (Sulphur Avenue), and LA 379 (Miller Avenue).
