The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra's annual Fourth of July celebration 'Red, White and Boom' is set for this Wednesday evening at three Lafayette parks.  Today Executive Director of the Acadiana Symphony Jenny Krueger visited 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to outline the activities.  Krueger said the stages will be set at Parc International, Parc Putnam and Parc Sans Souci with local musicians including Grammy nominee Marcia Ball and Grammy Award Winner Chubby Carrier.

Krueger said,

"We're partnering with Food Net this year.  This is new.  If you bring us a non-perishable food item we will give you a concession ticket so you get food for food."

Money raised at this event goes to the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra's education program that reaches 10,000 children.  It also goes to ASO's stage programs that touch over 20,000 people each year in Acadiana.
