Perillo says all of Acadiana is under a FLOOD WATCH through Wednesday afternoon and may continue into Thursday (looking at KATC's 8-day forecast you can see why). Perillo says we can expect to see rain totals of 3-6" likely in many areas with 4-8" in possible isolated areas.

Right now, Perillo says we are experiencing the first wave of showers/storms that are slowly traveling eastward across Acadiana. Through Thursday, several more waves are likely to hit.

One area that Perillo is highlighting for today is St. Landry Parish, where he says to look for 1-3" through tonight.
