Accused Cab Driver Killer Convicted By Lafayette Jury
LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- A jury in Lafayette Parish has convicted one of two men accused of killing a cab driver during an armed robbery.
Aaron Francois was convicted of second-degree felony murder on a 10-2 decision from the jury. The panel deliberated for an hour-and-a-half.
Francois and Kevin Gildhouse are charged with robbing and then fatally shooting Dixie Cab driver Wallace Boudreaux in February 2009. Gildhouse is set to stand trial in October.
