Accused Child Predator Arrested

A man coming to Lafayette hoping to meet an underage girl for sex got introduced to a pair of handcuffs instead. Lafayette Police say Wesley Deshotel the Third of Washington, Louisiana, went to a house looking for a 14-year-old girl who'd agreed to have sex with him. But what he didn't know was that the underage girl was actually undercover detectives who'd been chatting with him and waiting for him to come to the Lafayette home. He was arrested and charged with Computer-aided Solicitation of a Minor and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.
