Accused Child Rapist Arrested In Calcasieu Parish

40-year-old Jose Mario Rosales, who has a history of alleged inappropriate sexual contact with a child, is now behind bars again.

According to a press release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, Rosales has been booked into the parish jail for allegedly raping a 10-year-old female family member in 2012 for more than nine months. Detectives also learned Rosales would allegedly place his hand over the victim’s mouth so she could not scream. He's been charged with two counts of aggravated rape in this case and faces a $500,000.00 bond.

Sheriff Officials say Rosales has been booked for the second time in less than two months. Rosales was arrested on July 23 for the alleged inappropriate sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl. His was charged with two counts of sexual battery and was released two days later on a $30,000.00 bond.
