The man accused in the deaths of Youric and Mary Ann Courville has been found guilty of two counts of first degree murder.

In 2006, 83-year-old Youric and 70-year-old Mary Ann Courville were stabbed to death, found that way in their Eunice home. After deliberating for over six hours, our news partners at KATC report the St. Landry Parish jury found Warren Gautreaux guilty of two counts of first-degree murder.

Gautreaux will be sentenced August 1st, and faces life in prison.
